Competitions & Events

This event has three separate components for water‑competent youth under 21 years. View the event preview.

2025 U18 Youth World Grand Final

This Grand Final event awards 200% world ranking points for the 2025 season. Each competitor’s three best results from the season contribute to their final world standing, and the overall winners—boys and girls—become the 2025 PWA/WWT Junior Wave Champions. Competitors must be under 18 as of 31 December 2025.

2026 Jaffle Shack Oceania Youth Wave Titles

This event awards 100% world ranking points for the 2026 season and is separate from the U18 Grand Final but within the same waiting period. Competitors may enter both events. Minimum three competitors per division. Divisions usually include:

  • U13 Boys/Girls
  • U15 Boys/Girls
  • Pro Junior (U21) Boys/Girls

A second U18 division may run for 2026 points but is not guaranteed. Competitors must be under 18 as of 31 December 2026.

Junior Windsurf Camp

A fun, social two‑day camp for youth under 21 of any skill level, with coaching in all aspects of windsurfing. At least one parent/guardian per family must volunteer. Coaching includes beach starts, harness use, planing, gybing, tacking, jumping, wave riding, forward loops, back loops, push loops, and more.

General Schedule

  • 10–18 Jan 2026: U18 Youth Wave Grand Final (priority for best 1–2 days)
