Conditions looked promising early at the Bath House site. The women hit the water first for a 13-minute heat with two waves counting. Fiona Wylde narrowly edged out Miho Tanaka, Ingrid Larouche and Sam Bittner catching some long rides. Unfortunately the weather quickly deteriorated with rain pelting the competition site for most of the day. The evening festivities were held at the Ocean Air shop with beer flowing, tasty snacks and intense ping-pong. It was a great night.
Looks like we’ll have decent waves on Saturday and the wind may pickup enough late to run the competition.
